HTC announced the follow up to its massively popular Legend Android phone with the HTC Desire. And Desire is certainly the word! In this months competition more people have picked the HTC Desire as their desired prize than any other mobile phone, all that said it’s high time we wrote a review on one.
As I am sure most of you will know the HTC Desire is related to the ever popular Google Nexus One. It sports a lightning fast 1GHz processor, a Massive ALMOLED screen and the latest version of Sense UI. There are those who ask if the HTC Desire is worth the extra money over the Nexus One, this is quickly answered by how quickly this mobile phone has become one of the most popular handsets ever made in such a short space of time.
Having so much in common with the Nexus One the HTC Desire feels very familiar and so it should sharing the same processor, battery, 3.7 inch screen, 512MB or ROM (Read Only Memory) and 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, together with overall weight and a similar finish the two phones are very alike in many ways. The Desire does pack an extra 64MB of RAM (Random Access Memory), has physical buttons and an optical trackpad under the screen.
The HTC Desire is a pretty amazing handset, so we wont bore you with all our thoughts and comments, the phone has been around for quite a while now and I am sure many of you will have read enough reviews to decide whether it’s the phone for you.
